The Frisian horse is traditionally known as a carriage horse and the sport of driving is therefore very popular. For that reason, our assortment of harnesses is geared to that. We also have the proper harnesses for cobs and ponies.

We have a very large collection of harnesses in stock. Our handmade leather harnesses are a beautiful sight and a pleasure to use.

We assess each harness for its fit, quality, ease of use, and durability. We offer harnesses for sports, recreation, training, and dressage. In addition, we have harnesses exclusively intended for show purposes. We also have a number of synthetic harnesses in stock, e.g. from Zilco.

For driving with traditional harnesses such as the Frisian “sjees” or the “arrenslede” (horse-drawn sleigh), we sell handmade shaft straps and reins made of 100% unbleached cotton. Our reins and shaft straps do not contain any synthetic tissues, they are braided and hence not twisted, and they can be washed in a washing machine at temperatures up to 100 degrees Celsius. We also sell white chest collar lining made from top-quality white leather. We also offer accessories for two-in-hand and four-in-hand driving.
